Education empowers us with the ability to think, to differentiate right from the wrong and good from the bad. The youth of India needs to be versatile and future ready. Education centered around the holistic approach, with equal focus on Intellectual Development, Social Well-being, Positive Mental Health and Spiritual Awakening is the need of the hour. Our country needs the youth who are empowered with their wholesome Education & here comes up the role of teaching fraternity in Nation Building. Modern education, curriculum development and teaching methodologies have to keep pace with the demand of the economic environment. The manager, businessman and the entrepreneur of today needs many more weapons in armory. Holistic education should include all round development of a student.

We are living in an inquiring and innovation-oriented society. The demand of twenty first century is novelty, creativity, and integration of knowledge at global level, research, critical and analytical thoughts. Rapidly societal changes are creating uncertainty and complexity in the society. To prepare the youth to cope with the present situation, it is needed to develop analytical and critical thinking, skill enhancement and attitude development that would make them more flexible and innovative to deal with uncertainty and crises at national and global level. Education is a broader concept that involves acquiring adequate knowledge and imparting the same to educate another.

Teaching is not just a profession, but a responsibility to shape the nation. It has been very well said that no nation rises above the level of its education. A flourishing national development and a society truly prosperous with knowledge all begins from its teachers. Thus, teachers are undoubtedly among the most significant contributors to education for national development. A Nation is what its Youth is & Youth is what the teacher makes of it hence teaching is one of the imperative role and I feel being a teacher is actually a privilege which not everyone has and It’s like an honour bestowed by God directly upon the teachers. Teachers have the privilege of directly dealing with the future of the country i.e. The Youth and getting the opportunity to transform them, show them the direction of their career & Life.  They play the most significant role in building up the character of the next generation, thus shaping the nation’s growth & development.

We need better facilitators who realize that education is the central component for India’s developmental process. The education implementation plan needs to be clearly defined. We need to adopt modern techniques of teaching. In all educators must create awareness that being literate is a way of being liberated, it is a mode of touching new horizons and encompassing difficulties to realize one’s complete potential. Educationists should be compelled to invigorate about- breaking the mental moulds, learning to unlearn, understanding the underlying challenges and issues in Indian higher education system in broader perspective. Steps should be taken to encourage research in entrepreneurship through academic support and also undertake joint research projects with Indian & Overseas universities. Management Institute should make contemporary certification courses as part of their curriculum, catering to the need of today’s competitive scenario.

Education needs to be customized for the betterment of students, Special Value Added certifications should be provided to the students catering to current market requirements. Apart from the classroom learning students should get adequate exposure through Live Projects, Corporate Interface, Industrial visits, Dissertation, Summer Trainings etc. Students needs to be encouraged to participate in relevant seminars & conferences so that they can start networking and grow into a complete professional who will be market leaders of tomorrow. Students should be armed enough to face the challenges , Education devoid of practical exposure will is not enough .Institutes should also promote the entrepreneurial spirit and creating the right opportunities towards making the Entrepreneurship dream come true and enables every student to carve a niche for themselves and become a responsible Global Citizen.  The rich and unique learning environment develops the student physically, intellectually and emotionally. Institutes need to ensure a futuristic approach that keeps pace with the changing trends in the professional world through our global perspective. Re-designing the curriculum, content and teaching methodology in formal and non-formal educational systems is the need of the hour. Holistic Development and not just academic knowledge is what is expected out of any Management Institute, failing which dilutes the very role of Education.

The youth of a nation outlines and moulds its present and paves the way for its future. The responsibility of nation building lies majorly on the Young Generation, not the politicians or the policy makers alone. “I feel very much honoured being part of the education fraternity”. When teachers understand the relevance & seriousness of their responsibility, no one can stop the growth and development of Youth and thus The Nation.  Every teacher in its own way is contributing towards nation building by orienting the Youth into right direction, it is in the hands of the teacher that they motivate the Youth to have big dreams in their life, aspire for big ambitions that ultimately contribute to the whole nation.
Dreaming big is vital to grow and spread your wings higher.  I believe in what Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam said: – “Small Ambition is a Crime” and added that “teachers of our country have the responsibility to make students to dream big”. There is a huge power in dreaming big.
